santogold at summerstage

This past sunday i had the pleasure of listening to some good free music in a perfect setting. This came in the form of Santogold in Central Park with a couple good friends of mine. She was better live than on her album (which is well worth picking up) and thank god for that because i couldnt see her for shit despite my many attempts. But dont get me wrong, im not bitter it worked out all fine chilling outside the arena with the rest of the world that couldnt get in. i just wanna say fuck you to that overly aggressive bodyguard who told me not to "fucking disrespect his barrier" bc that was unnecessary. But the whole vibe was really nice.. a-trak, kanye's dj was also there playing a bunch of mixes of really random songs including some kanye, kid sister, MIA and even some baltimore club music (get em!).









As for other free concerts this summer i am seriously interested in going to erykah badu in brooklyn or jill scott in central park this august........
