Please don't drop that Yellow Cake

In an uncharacteristic attempt to bring the Music back to MTV (even though technically it's not exactly on TV), they have actually done something amazing! MTV has just released this new website where you can see every single music video that they have ever played (and probably some you haven't) in their entirety, you can even embed the videos to your MySpace, Facebook, or your favorite Blog.

Brian Donnely

Brian Donnelly, also referred to as "KAWS", has contributed much to the streetwear industry in the past decade. He was born in Jersey City and attended The School of Visual Arts in NYC. After his graduation he did some animation work for Disney. Anyone who is a huge fan of Nickelodeon's "Doug" should thank Mr. Kaws for his animation skills.

Aside from his "by the book" career, he also had a groundbreaking career in the world of Grafitti. He made a name for himself in all the right places such as: NYC, Paris, Tokyo, London and Berlin. He now has a clothing line called Original Fake and designs everything from Bearbrick Toys to Vans. He also redesigns American cartoon figures such as the Simpsons, Spongebob, and Family Guy. Welcome to the world of Fine Art.

Mike v. Bruce

Matthew seems to think that there is somehow, some way Bruce Lee could beat Mike Tyson in a fight... he's obviously tweaking

When I say Mike Tyson would knock Bruce Lee out... he would give that nigga the business. There's no way all that karate shit would work with Mike. And don't get me wrong Bruce Lee is that nigga when it comes to fighting multiple enemies, it's just too bad all of em drop with one hit.

Bruce Lee could get as many hits on Mike Tyson as he wanted, I'd even go so far as to say that Bruce could kick Mike in the chest full on and it still wouldn't faze him. He's arguably one of the fastest hitters out there, but even in that category Mike would give him a run for his money.

I think Todd put it best "Bruce Lee in his prime vs. Mike Tyson in his prime? Bruce trying to knockout out Mike Tyson is like him trying to knockout a horse."

So it comes down to Bruce Lee in his prime v. Mike Tyson in his prime

New Eminem Freestyle "I'm having a Relapse"

I've been a fan since he first came on the scene, and with this lil snippet I want to say that Marshall is back. Look out for more music coming up.

You can tell we're in the middle of a recession lol, why else would he try to release another CD?

Not Quite an exclusive but you wont find it in many other places on the net...

Makin Moves

Monday, October 20, 2008

Start of Homecoming week, the fashion show was scheduled for like 8 that night. Todd and Myself were invited to a V.I.P reception prior to the actual show. The Special guest for the evening was none other than Joe Barrato, for those of you who don't know he is the former president of Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Ralph Lauren Black Label, and he practically made Brioni (suits) the brand it is today.

Anyway Todd and I asked him a few question about the clothing industry and the creative process. He gave us some of the most insightful and real answers. He confirmed and opened my eyes to why this man was (and is) such a force in the industry. With 50 years in the game, he's much more than a veteran. Overall, I was very impressed with him not only as a businessman, but he seems to be a down to earth guy on even a personal level.

The actual fashion show left something to be desired, however we did get a few t-shirts out there so I can't really complain. Fonzworth Bentley [Morehouse Alum] performed, but I don't really think he did himself justice, he's the kind of rapper that needs to articulate his words for you to grasp what he's trying to say. But he killed "everybody"

And You know we were in VIP...

Chauce was outside afterwards, the man just touched down and had all these crazy stories to tell about South St.

Something I left out (this post is getting kinda long). The Cafe had spaghetti and I'm just saying this because it was the first time I remember eating spaghetti actually anything other than chicken, that it was refreshing. Not only that, I was privledged enough to sit down with the infamous Alex Jacke.
